2001 SLK320
I had an SLK320 for 3.5 years before it got shmoosed (https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...ighlight=brick) and it was trouble free.

Just got a 350 2 months ago and so far so good. If it's as reliable as the 320 was I'll be quite happy!

Sure has not been a good experience for me so far. Nothing but head aches and problems, but I still love the car. They are now talking engine replacement which I will not except. Engine and tranny bad with 2200 miles.
Not a good sign of things to come.

SLK 55 AMG
From all the info I've gathered, it was Daimler that bought Chrysler. They even fired a bunch of Chrysler execs and did a lot of restructuring within to make it more like Daimler. But at a cost.
