19" Wheels

I'm thinking of getting 19" wheels for my new 2006 slk 350 and was wondering if anyone has put 19's on theirs?

Is the ride to harsh w/19's?

Please share your experience & opinions.

I thought this forum was to discuss the slk350. Perhaps if I said it was a crappy car I would have gotten a lot more responses...lol!

Well, I can't wait for mine to be delivered and was hoping to get some insight to upgrading the wheels.

Look over in the other MB forum (benzworld.org) in the R171 section. I got over 100 hits in searching on 19", plus pics.

evster, Do a search. There has been a lot of discussion on this topic in the past. Perhaps some of the people that posted information previously just don't want to post again?

What kind of rims are you looking at? The ride is already on the harsh side so be careful with the 19". I think it will improve the look of the car. BTW I agree with you, this is overall a "dead" board. It takes a post like mine to get people talking and posting. LOL.
