its pretty old, but bmw officially updated the z4 line up and they added the z4m!!! any thoughts on how the updated z4's will stack up to slk's?

personally, i would love to test drive the z4m... the only thing is the z4 feels so much more cramped inside and looks smaller from the outside... at least for me

but im pretty excited about the z4m. it doesnt have the folding hardtop, but it does have the old m3 engine. it also has one thing that deterred me from buying another amg... manual tranny!

Yes, I think the Z4 will be a formidable car. I used to own an M3, personally I disliked it as it you drove it "***** out" all tyhe time. I found the engine to be harsh and thrashy was pushed, and this is a trait that will be more noticeable in the Z4M.
I replaced the M3 with an Audi S4 Cabriolet thats the 4.2V8 Version, not the older 2.7T. In comparison the Audi was TOTALLY smooth and didn;t need to be caned to deliver the perfomance. Thats V8 versus Straight 6 for you I guess.
My point is that if BMW were serious about the Z4M, They would have shoehorned a torquey V8 or 507hp V10 !! Under the hood and had a proper car !

It'll probably be a good car. I'll try to get a go in one next year when it gets released

It is still "broken back" ugly (horrible lines) viewed from the side.

Z4 M
I agree. It is still "butt" ugly. Make it as powerful as you (they) want, it's still ugly! :v
