Can anyone tell me if it is possible to retrofit the phone kit to our car ? Does it work out madly expensive ?

Your dealer should be able to install a UHI/MHI kit for a number of Nokia, Siemens, Sony/Ericsson and Motorola phones.
I installed a Sony/Ericsson HCB-30 Bluetooth kit in a R171. Here is the link to the posting.

The kit is available on eBay and it took me 5 hours to do it the first time. Now I can probably do it in 2.
