De-badging

I just had my SLK 280 de-badged and I really like the way it looks. Anyone else thinking of doing this?

Specifically, do you mean removal of the SLK 280 on the rear? Anything else? What's the logic? Just curious.

Yes, the "SLK 280" only. IMHO, I think the "SLK 280" breaks the flow of the beautifully sculptured lines of the SLK rear. Much like the chrome grill inserts.

Would it break the flow of the lines if it said SLK55?

It's your car, you don't have to defend your actions. To take something off, there's no foul. To put something on (AMG on non AMG) you'll be criticized.
