GF Drag Raced HER SLK at Sears Point! 14.1s!
Hi, new to the forums here. I got my GF to take her SLK350 Auto to Sears Point last Wed. night. She loved it. The car is completely stock.
All we did was lift the hood for the last half of the night. It finally cooled down to the mid 70s? She was so consistent, all she did was a slight brake torque in the sport mode. A little bit of spin and ran 2.1 and 2.2 60fts. Never touched the tire pressure.
Turns out she cracked off 14.1s within .03 of each other and got 4th place! Would have had 1st or 2nd but for a rookie mistake!
So, is 14.1s on a slow night (GT500 - 13.3s-4s?, '05 C6 Auto - 13.4s-5s, my Charger SRT-8 13.6s - s/b 13.3s or better) good for an Auto SLK350??

Thanks! She was trapping at 98mph, best being 98.95mph. That run the temp was 79 degrees, 53 relative humidity and Sears is considered to be at sea level (a hundred feet or so above the SF Bay).
