SLK Brabus
Hello guys,
just sold me 03 Sport Coupe for a 05 SLK 200 Brabus (i am in Greece, EU and we dont get SLK350 here that often since the tax on the cc's is very heavy
) and I intend to post many pictures later tonight...
The car has Brabus front and rear bumper , brabus side skirts, 4 brabus exhausts, 18" brabus rims, brabus stainless steel rollbars etc but the engine has not been touched...
Its fantastic and runs great, only problem I hear a lot of crackling and bending noises coming from the roof....the previous owner infomed me that the dealerships have a special grease that they apply on the roof and the noises go away but they come back really soon...anyone with experience on this one?

I haven't used or needed any grease on my roof yet, although I have heard a few members getting greased when they took it in for service. The noises shoudn't come back really soon, that sound like you need more than just grease to fix. Have the dealer check it out again, it's not normal for roof the make noises, mine is nearly silent. Would love to see pics of your SLK.

I've had my car two years now and just recently I have heard the odd creak from the roof. It's very rare, maybe a few times I heard a creaking sound. It is so rare, I didn't even bring it up to the dealer when it was in for Service "B". If it does it more than that, then something is wrong. Take it to the dealer.
Oh... and please post pics of your car. I love seeing something other than a stock SLK.

.. i too, is also having a problem putting multiple pictures here where u all can see the picture or enlarge it..

then manage attachments
make note of max size of file extensions like bmp or jpg as if it is larger than allowed it will tell you.
choose browse and locate where picture is on harddrive.
do only one upload at a time or it will take a while
