SLK/R171: Does anyone else have this problem?

Smile Does anyone else have this problem?
I have an 06 R171 and it has 19" Lexions on it. It is rubbing like crazy. I rolled the fenders and it is the right off-set but it still rubs. The tires are BFG. Why is it still rubbing?

19" on what size tires? Rubbing in front or back, I assume front as you can't roll the rear. Is it lowered?

I have 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears on 235/35 and 265/30 lowered an inch w/o rubbing, it could be offset or tires too wide.

Mine are the exact same size and they are rubbing.

wheels and tires? if so then the offset is incorrect

If so then your SLK is probably lowered with Michelin PS2's? I heard they rub a little in the rear with 265's. I had the same problem with rubbing until I had my wheels redone (incorrect offset), now they don't rub at all with room to spare.

Not necessarily. I have 10" rears with 265 PS2's. I never rub in the rear. The front rubbing is extremely rare and only happens if I'm driving at very high speeds AND during long undulations in the road.

Is the front or the rear rubbing? When does it rub? You have to give more specifics than simply stating 'it's the right offset.'

All of the wheels are rubbing. Rubs over bumps, during turns, dips, on the fwy
lol. Thanks for being so helpful. The tires I have are BFG 235 35 19 in the front 265 30 19 rear. I also have H&R Springs. Any more info?

I would send your wheels back ASAP. It does not fit, you should not be rubbing on all four wheels. Your tires are correct, your wheels are not.
