SLK/R171: Tire Rotation on SLK with amg sports pkg?

Tire Rotation on SLK with amg sports pkg?
I have a 05' 350 with AMG sports package, my rear right tire seems to be wearing out much faster than the others. Of course the tires are staggered sizes on the SLK and cannot be rotated from front to rear, but can they be switched rear left to right, rear right to left?
Has anybody noticed this type of wear pattern where one rear tire is wearing out faster?
If I can't rotate tires, is my only option to just replace the one that is worn out first?

Belted tires can not be swapped from one rotation direction to another so it looks like you will need to get two more tires.
If it is wearing more on one side I would check on an alignment problem.
Older cars used to have this problem if driven with a lead foot at take off and the tire would spin... but even then it had to be done frequently and the tire wear would be even across the tire.
Anyway, worth checking.

I did found out that my alignment off recently - the car was pulling to the right. Since then I have gotten that corrected, but the wear to the tire is already done. I do drive the car pretty hard at times... it's hard not to!!!Looks like I'll need to get a new pair of tires in the near future.
It must be FUN having your SLK in HI, I'm northern CA - not as awesome as HI, but it's winter time and I'm enjoying my AirScarf option.

Driving here has its good and bad... good all year (particularly on a motorcycle) but it is somewhat in circles..
Now they are getting stricter on speed and if over 80 MPH they want to send you to jail... the bums!
