SLK/R171: Ambient Floor Lighting

Ambient Floor Lighting
My ambient floor lighting on the passenger side is out of service. Has anyone attempted to change this bulb on their own? If so, please let me know how to do that. I could not see how to even remove the light's cover. My local dealer requires that I schedule an appointment just to have that bulb changed.

Simply take a flat head screwdriver and insert it into the side of the light where you see a little cut out tab. Grab a flashlight for this so you can work easier. Then just waddle it out one side at a time.
