Hi all, my hood fins arrived this afternoon. I took them out to the car to try and fit them..they have hooks on the bottom that look like they should snap into the grills holes but they dont atleast I wasn't able to get them in. It seems like it will require a lot of force and I'm afraid the edges will scratch the hood while I'm trying to get it snapped in.

Any ideas? I bought the ones from Performance Parts.

supp there... where did u get those fins? from i what i remember, each fins can only be placed on 1 area.. they are numbered and ull just have to count and position the fin on the right hole... and i do remember usin some kinda PUSH in order to put them on.. but urs could be different.. i got mine at PERFORMANCE PRODUCT..

Got it from the same place..I see the numbers now, thanks. They should pack instructions in the box or something

Took some time and wear and tear on my fingers but alas the fins are installed I spaced them every 9 holes apart.

It seems that they are the Schaetz tuning ones. They should come with instructions that tell you the exact spacing between them.

those fins are not good. They dont have the rubber underneath to seperate them from the bonet paint and the metal fin itself.

go ebay.de to find different ones. Personally I'd throw them out.
