2008 SLK?? is it gonna happened??
i am currently owning a 2002 C320 and a C230 coupe, and now we are thinking of trading-in the C320 for a SLK 350, we are half way from the year now, so is 2008 model SLK going to come out?? will there be any difference??

They don't make 07's anymore, the 08's has minor changes, so minor that only the diehard slk enthusiast can tell them apart. Mostly exterior changes. Great deals on leftover 07's, thousands off MSRP. Good luck in your search

we want the metallic Black but 08 model doesnt' have it...

the 08 models, have a different front side grill, and some minor changes to the tail light i believe. check out the 08 model spyshots (search on google). i'd definately do it.

Yeah, so I get the feeling the entire production run was pushed back about 5 weeks from the original dates. The one ahead of me that was scheduled for mid-June is now July 28th and mine went from the first week of July to Aug 13th!

It also looks like 7G is the only trans option for the 350. 280 is still available 6spd manual or 7G... I find that rather odd.
If I wanted a manual for performance reasons I would pony up a few extra bucks for the 350. I would think most buyers would look at it that way too. The only reason the manual is still available is so that MB can advertise a low starting price and/or for the true entry level buyer who does not want to spend the money for the auto (I was one of those; but in the end I still ended up with a $1400 7G anyways).

What price would that be? SLK350 starting at 49K... I'll be very interested to get another roadster for the family if the price fall anywhere from 53K-57K for an brand new 2007 SLK55.

Around $57K for a leftover 2007 brand new. Might not come with all the options you want, My MSRP for my SLK350 was $61K. Slightly used 2007 ones you can get for $52-$55K, check autotrader and ebay.

AT is standard, but not the only choice for the 08 SLK350
Oh, so the deal is AT will be standard for the SLK350. Please confirm, cause that's not the same as saying the 350 cannot be had with a 6-speed tranny, which is what my dealer told me. I guess they are trying to get me to go with a MY07. There's just no manual 07's and I really want a manual.
