Gearbox Problem
My R171 encountered a gearbox problem yesterday at a traffic light. I was trying to switch back to Drive "D" from Neutral "N" after stopping for a minute or so, but instead of D, it stayed at N, yet the front dash clearly showed that the car was in D.
I gave it a few more tries, but it still couldn't switch back to D, so I turned off the ignition and started the engine again to switch the gear back to D.
I thought it was a one time thing, so I tried it again at the next traffic light, and the same problem occurred so I started the engine again.
The car runs fine today, but I am still a bit sketchy of it. Has any one of you encountered similar problems before? Thanks!
