Hey Guys, I'm looking to convert a base SLK350 to the sport package look. See this thread - https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...05#post2337905

Buying an entire package (front and rear bumpers + sideskirts) might be a waste...would you suggest getting the stuff directly through a dealer or reseller instead? Has anyone done this to their car before?

I searched on the forum and a few guys before tried the same thing but never posted up the part numbers. I PM'd and emailed them, but got no response. Due to the time constraints and the fact that no one had any idea what parts I needed, I dropped it off at a body shop that deals in high end cars. About $4,600 in parts and labor later, the car looks great. I picked it up today and gotta drive halfway up the country tomorrow. I'll be buying some painters tape to protect my fresh front

You should be able to find these same product names on sites like www.mercedespartssuperstore.com and save a couple hundred off the prices I just listed here. The really annoying part is that a lot of places don't tell you that you need different reinforcement for the front and energy absorbers for the back.

No prob...oh yea, that list doesn't include the sideskirt stuff. I'm not sure what was involved in that. I'll post some pictures of the finished product later this week.
