I have an 05 SLK350 and when it is quite hot and the AC is on max cooling and high fan speed, there is a strange wind noise (like someone blowing in a wind pipe instrument). It is not the fan (which is noisy when on high setting) but rather some sort on wind resonance. I gave it to the MB dealer and they told me that the AC unit is noisy and that it is probably it (for all I know that they might not have heard it since with my luck they had the car when it was not that hot/humid and the noise does not manifest itself all the time even on high setting) but I am not satisfied with this answer.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like woo.. woo.. woo.. (like someone blowing into an empty bottle).
Do you know what it causing it and what can be done to fix?
