SLK/R171: MY2009 CD Changer with MP3?

MY2009 CD Changer with MP3?
Could not find if the new generation of audio head units support MP3s on the new SLK's. 
I'm looking at the standard in dash 6 disc CD changer.
I'm driving a MY2008 C-class and the standard single-CD player plays MP3 just fine. (by the way it's a great car)
Just debating if I should need the iPod kit with the P1 package.
Thanks for any info you have. The dealer wasn't sure and I didn't had a MP3 CD with me.

This is what I've found on the MB UK website. Seems like it will do MP3s.
