SLK 350 - Reset Main Inspection Indicator
Hello.
Anyone know how to reset this warning: "Main Inspection Performed on Time?" ?
I receive it anytime I enter the car.
There is no way to set to Zero like it was before.
I did a mistake confirming it.
Do I have to go to the Dealer?

1. key in pos. 1
2. press reset button 3x quick
3. display shows battery
4. with the arrow down to service menu
5. press 3x "-" (minus) until confirmation appears
6. with the arrow one position down to the next menu
7. you should see "confirm", "delete" and "delete mistake" now
8. change to pos. 2 now
9. press "page down" while "confirm full service" appears
10. you get a confirmation
11. press "back" to go to the standard menu

hi i tried the above and it kind of worked... but at the confirmation stage it says not confirmed and so doesnt complet... i tried the process over a few times but i must be doing something wrong... now on the main menu instead of it saying service 72 days overdue it says service menu not available... i drive an slk 2009... someone please help!!!

Old topic but I need a little help with this. I am having the same problem resetting this, and I might have messed with something because the Check Engine light came on.
I go to key position 1, click the Clear button 3 times fast, but no battery pops up on the screen. Am I doing something wrong? I tried 3x Clear in all key positions and nothing worked.
I just bought the car so I'll be running to Autozone for the CEL, and then taking it back to the dealership to have it fixed
The car has 50k miles
