Marque Madness at VIR!

Wanted to let everyone know about a great Mercedes track event coming up on June11/12 at Virginia International Raceway (www.virclub.com).
This is an absolutely beautiful facility. It is one of the premiere road courses in the country, but with a countryclub-like atmosphere. Lots of accomodation on-site, nice restaurant with a bar, even a swimming pool if you want to make a family weekend out of it.
Registration is not open just yet (http://www.gws-mbca.org/events/MarqueMadness09.html) , but its not too early to start making plans!
If I can help you with any information about the track, accomodations etc. just PM me. I'll be happy to try and help.

2005 SLK350
i've love to bring my slk350 to a road course like that but after learning of all the fees/costs and rules, i'd rather save my money for upgrades and stick to the streets.

Honestly, your money is better spent "upgrading" the driver rather than the car. The cost for this event is extremely reasonable and yes, there are a lot of rules, but they are for our own safety - we all want to drive our cars home afterwards, not have them delivered on a flatbed!!!!!
So think about it a little more before you make your final decision; you may be missing out on a very memorable experience
