Help!!
My father owns a SLK350 2005 and the car battery is discharged (1 month without starting the engine).
How could he open the car?
He lives like 200 kilometers away from my home and i dont want to drive that far!
The metal key (came inside the regular remote key) would open the car if the battery is discharge?

My 2005 is currently sitting in its winter storage with a dead battery. I'll deal with it someday. Too busy right now.

you guys need a battery optimiser!
my car is only used at weekends and is always fully charged when I go to take it out because the battery is 'topped up' automatically whilst in the garage.

I'd have one but I don't have access to an electrical outlet to plug it into. My wife and I are having a new house built with a 3 car garage. One space for her car, one for my everyday car and the third for my Mercedes.
