Odd Mirrors (2007 SLK)
Noticed a while back that my door mirrors are different.

The RHS one (UK -drivers side) has a thick black plastic rim around the outside of the glass but the LHS one just has the glass?

Any idea's why they are not the same?

They are both heated and can be folded back but is it because the RHS one is auto-dimming like the interior mirror (is it called photochromic)

yes one is autodimming.
