Are they gonna make it bigger and roomier??

Well, I like the SLK and willing to buy one. The only problem is that its small! I can’t drive it! LOL. I’m 180cm tall… and I don’t remember that I’ve ever been able to get both of my legs inside the car!

180 cm? Thats 5'11"!

180 cm is less than 6'. I'm 6'4" (193 cm) and find the SLK quite comfortable!

I'm 6'1" and it's too small. I love the car and I can deal with (has more room than my friends Boxster). But I would certainly like more room. 2” more to lean the seat back would do. Having the seat all the way back makes my leg room great, but then you sit straight up. My wife (5”9”) loves the car, but it’s a pain to try and get in after she has the seat forward.

That is ironic! 6'4" and you find the car comfortable! I am under 6 Ft and find it cramped. Every car has a demographic it is designed for and it was never designed with tall or big people in mind. The demographic for the SLK development was female of normal height and weights.

I find it amuzing when I see somene who is 5 Ft driving an S-Class with the seat rammed up to the steering wheel, someone 350 lbs in a Hyundai Accent, their belly touching the steering wheel and would have a good chuckle with a very tall person squeezed into a SLK.

I guess our pocketbooks controls our minds to justify what we drive even if we don't fit into it.

At 6' and 165 lbs I am quite comfortable driving my SLK 320. For the nearly 3 years I've driven the car, there's been plenty of room for me and my passenger, with no feelings of being cramped even on long trips.
My buddy is 6' 1" at 170 lbs, likes to drive with the seat way back, and finds the driving position just fine too.

Your Height is not the only factor. Everyone the same height still have different dimenstion and body sizes. When getting into a car the sitting height varys for people of the same height. Some people at the same height have longer or shorter legs, longer or shorter torsos. Even hair styles come into play. Some of the same height have more *** to sit on which would increase their sitting height. It is also noted that tall people tend to slouch and short people tend to walk on their toes.
