ABOUT INJECTORS

A DEALER TOLD ME THAT THE INJECTORS (MODERN MB CARS- 2006 UP TO DATE) DO NOT NEED TO BE CLEANED. IS THAT TRUE?

BEST REGARDS.

Quality of fuel and fuel filtration is still important, but it's likely that replacment is cheaper or same price as cleaning. The guy did not say they'd never need to be replaced.

Probably true.

Just use Shell V Power or Chevron Premium at each fill up.

If you don't have access to those, every several thousand miles, you could try a bottle of Chevron Techron Complete Fuel System Additive in the tank before a fill up (not the diluted injector only formula, but complete Fuel System Additive). I have been told, though I haven't seen the evidence myself, that Techron is the only additive that Mercedes actually approves the use of. Most OEMs hate additives, but BMW supposedly also approves Techron.
