Number of brake sensors in SLK280

I am looking to do my own brake pad job but am not sure how many brake pad sensors I need for my 2006 SLK280. Some places say one, others two. Can anyone help with this info? Are there any sensors on the back? Short of jacking it up and taking the wheels off I can't seem to find good info on this.

I am looking at buying ceramic Akebono pads for front and back and keeping current rotors (I have minimal wear at 48,000 miles). Any advice from you DIYers out there?

Thanks!

You should have one front and one rear sensor. Worst case scenario, you purchase an extra one @ $10

Akebono = yes, do it, and never look back.

Brake job couldnt be easier. Just remember to get that torx retaining bolt that secure the rotor into the hub that everyone forgets about. be prepared to beat the rotor off with a rubber hammer.
