P0108 - MAP High Input?
2006 SLK280 (3.0L V6) 71,000 miles, original owner.
P0108 = "Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input".
The check engine light came on about a month ago, but the car still runs well and nothing unusual. Erased the code but it came back on again about 50 miles later.
Would this be a simple MAP sensor replacement, or some kind of high pressure condition in the inake manifold or crankcase?
Any advice on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.
A while ago I replaced a $33 camshaft adjuster solenoid (magnet) that was causeing P0022 check engine light. So I want to try something this time as well before I take it to a stealership.
Thanks in advance.
