Hi I'm about to buy a SLK 350 2006 with 84K miles. All looks OK from the outside and interior of the car. I'm a bit concern about the balance shaft issue.

I found the engine on the SLK is in the list of what might have problems. This is the VIN WDBWK56F46F096507 engine 272963 30 175621

Please advise if this should be a show stopper for buying it.
