2006 slk 350
phone connection

Hello, I have searched this site extensiviely looking for the location of the phone connection port in my car. I have a 2006 slk 350 without navigation. It has the buttons for the phone so I think it is setup to have the integrated phone. Several threads state there is a connection in the phone conmpartment in the center arm rest. I have loked and cannot find this connection. I am interested in either purchasing the OEM or part number B67875839 or B67876131. I currently havethe visor clip for bluetooth which I paid around $30 from Verizon. However the volume and sound quality is very poor.

Could anyone tell me if my car should have this connection and where it would be?

The connection is under the armrest /centre console ! If you can't find it , it's possible that you don't have the pre installation which is a complicated and costly to retrofit . The cheapest /best solution I found is a Parrot Mki9000 along with a Unika module , which gives you -Bluetooth , ipod , usb , mp3 and steering wheel controls for making calls , which are made by voice dialling .
