AMAZING WORK.
I just had to share the links I have found.
How does the weight of the v12 compare to the v8? Anything done to offset it?

It has Michelin Pilot SuperSports in 19" staggered setup. Yes, the car roasts tires from a hard launch. Once you get used to the throttle though, you can launch this thing like a rocket ship. Keep in mind, it still has the 3.06 rear axle ratio from the SLK55! 40mph-120mph thrust is an out of world experience!

Cool...Are you or have you found way to tub out rear wheel wells so can get bigger tire on it? Because, with size tire you have now can't really utilize all the power. Unless you just into frying the tires and not putting down 1/4 runs.

Congratulations on the great work!
I'm doing my very own project with the same SLK and using an M275 from S600 Biturbo.
would you please let me know what oil pan and pump did you use, since the ones from S/CL are front oriented and do not fit the front subframe.
Did you swap the upper and lower oil pan with one from an SL600/65 AMG R230?
Best Regards
