Looking at picking up 2005 SLK350
I'm new here and looking at possibly picking up a very nicely maintained 2005 SLK350. However, I'm new to owning a used Mercedes and the balancer issue has me slightly concerned as looks like this cars vin (WDBWK56F25F021299) may be in the affected sequence. Car has been well maintained and is a really well kept example, garage kept, owned by older couple and looks like was only driven on weekends in fair weather. Would dealer have serviced the balance shaft issue automatically given the TSB's / lawsuits?
Other than above concern car looks immaculate and only 58k miles on it.
I drove it on Saturday afternoon and everything worked, no obvious signs of any issues or areas of concern. I am looking at getting a PPI done on car tomorrow so fingers are crossed.

We have a 2005 SLK 350, purchased in 2010 with 9800miles. We now have 22500 miles on the car and the only things that have cost us money was a new battery and a seat belt receptacle (SRS Light default). I would say to for it.
