A few Qs.
i dunno if these questions have been asked yet. or if anyone knows. but could anyone tell me approx. how much the slk55 will be and when its gonna be released?? I LOVE IT! my car lease ends in october so i hope its out by then!!

SLK55 AMG release
I read an article in NY Daily News that stated the new SLKs are to be released in the USA this September. However, it did not specifically mention the SLK55 AMG's release date. I've read on various message boards that generally MB releases the "regular" SLKs first, followed by release of the AMG version several months after. Based on that, I'd suspect the AMG model will be released in the USA in the Spring of 2005. But who knows -- best thing you can do is contact your local Mercedes dealer and ask them since they'll have a better idea than anyone else -- ask to be put on a waiting list for one if you'd like.

I would imagine a spring 05 release as SLKfan quoted. But IMO why not just go for the 350, get the amg kit and then add a kleeman when they are available for the new 4 valve engine. Since the 55 engine would be obsolete in a year or so when they phase out the current 500 and 55 engines.

good point but I'd miss the V8 sound.
