Slk55 Amg Gets 6 Speed Manual!!!!
Well I think this is the first AMG to get a 6 speed manual tranny or 7 speed SPEEDSHIFT automatic tranny. This is awesome! Here is the article.

everything was worded wrong.. the AMG is stuck with 7G Auto, the lower models will have the option for the 7g automatics

However, ultimately the 7G -Tronics is so much better at the performance than the standard transmission... I am a fanatic about standard transmission as well however, the 7G is just ... better. The SLK350 best time for 0-60 was clocked on the 7G. The manual was .1 sec longer.
