Battery Draw from Fuse # 8
Hello All,
New to MB world.
Met Noodles one of the moderators while getting new tires yesterday at our local master mechanic and he told me to give this site a try.
I own a 2005 SLK 350 with 60,000 miles on it and am having battery draw issues. The battery was going dead every couple of days. Put in a new battery and same issue. Had new battery tested and it passed.
I did a parasitic battery draw earlier this spring on every fuse in the car and one of the last ones I checked was Fuse #8 and it was the culprit. For the last 2 months the battery has no issues but fuse # 8 what I read controls the Alarm system door locks, Phone and power antenna from what I say in the fuse chart paper work that in my fuse box by the drivers side door. I’m am now lost as to how to diagnose any further to solve this issue.
1) The phone is unplugged
2) I don’t know where the wires go behind the fuse to do any further checking.
If anyone has had this situation and a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
