SLK/R171: my plans for a benz of my own

my plans for a benz of my own
ok yes i am an E-3 earning $1,400 a month from the air force, a $7,000 bonus and a car worth $8,000 blue booked. im single no gf ( or bf) and all i want is a ****in fast car and thats looks good. anything i have wanted i have gotten it cuz i worked my hardest for it. i plan to do the same with this, nebody that tells me that im crazy or stupid, i agree with them thats what being a young is about is make mistakes and learn from them. so with that out there no matter of talkin about experience or anything like that will change my mind about the 55 AMG.
PS. most of you guys have already put in an order for the car and will be getting soon, well by the time i get one you'll all be talkin about gettin a 2006. im gettin my 55 AMG or 350 will be this time next year. and when i do get this car i will keep it for a long time, no tradin it in ****. i also hope that i get some kind of promotion while in the air force. plus a small part time job on top of that.
so you rich dentists and lawyers have a nice day, if i can see a 20 yo guy drive a ferrai stradale in omaha i should be able to drive a benz.

=$30,600
Now, don't you have any bills to pay? any food to buy? any clothes to buy? any rent? what about insurance and gas? You are gonna be able to afford all of the above mentioned items plus a $45,000+ car??? if you want the 55 thats prob gonna be around $60,000. thats more then 2 years worth of working since you wont have the $8,000 car the second year up for sale. So how are you gonna be able to afford this car? Its really simple...no one will give you a loan for the remainder of the money...why you ask? because you don't make enough money to be able to pay off the loan. I suggest a kia..i think one of their cars starts under $10,000 brand new, you might be able to swing that but you might have to lower how much you spend on drugs. lol

You don't need a Benz right now. Save your money, and have something to aspire to in the future. No need to drown in debt for the rest of your life because of a frivolous purchase.
I knew this kid from high school who drove around in an older Honda Accord. It was a car...no more, no less. It served its purpose. But when he graduate college, all he wanted was an Acura or a Lexus. Since he got into law school in DC, we told him to keep the Honda, and get the nice car after school. Why get a nice car banged up in DC, plus why spend the money with all the student loans? Long story short, he ends up getting a pre-owned Lexus ES300, and now delivers pizza (and sells other stuff with it...) in order to pay his bills. Smart move. Sounds too much like that Dodge commercial...

The guy is obviously full of crap. He claims he can afford an $85,000 car on Air Force pay until I call him out. Now he is trying to use my facts to make his story sound believable but it is still full of wholes. Where would this $7,000 bonus be coming from? Also, at entry level enlisted ranks you are well below the poverty line and usually even eligible for food stamps. That is not the kind of person who can afford a Benz. Do you even know what rank and how many stripes an E-3 has?

the guy who posted is full of crap..anyways to the last post.im 21 and i have an 04 e320 sticker price 55 thousand(but paid alil over invoice)..anyways it all depends on the money situation..being where he is and that is he obviously full of ****..im not even going to bother writing..that guy is a tool,thats why he's not responding to us at all

I'm not saying at 21 you can't have a Benz. I'm currently saving to buy an SLK(hopefully an R171 but probly an R170) when I graduate college. Gotta have my Lt-mobile. I was saying if he was an E-3 he wouldn't be in a financial situation where buying a Benz would make any sense.
