Space behind the roll-over-bars in the new SLK?
I saw a picture that showed a lot of space behind the roll-over-bars. Is there really that much empty/cargo room back there? If yes, then I can put a sub encloser in there?

hidden space behind driver headrest
If the cutout is to be believed there may be some hidden space behind the driver's headrest.

You would want to make sure first though that the space is not required for the folding roof to move in before reaching its resting place. One way to test this would be to fill the space with some type of soft form sensitive material that would allow the roof to contract and yet at the same time leave an imprint if the roof came in contact with it.

Have a look at this picture on the following site. I couldn't attach it because the size was more than 1 bytes.
It is the second picture from the right side in the first row.
