2002 SLK 320 Silver with AMG exterior package, black & BLUE leather interior
Bahama Blue and Orion Blue
I don't see Bahama Electric Blue listed as an option for the new r171 SLKs. I had Bahama Electric Blue on my old SLK and it sure looks the same as what is now called Orion Blue.

Still questions after looking at cars
Your reply says;
US R170 Specs
352 Bahama Blue = Linaritblau
345 Orion Blue = Japisblau
Which also matches the paint number from MBSLK.DE website
German R170 Specs
linaritblau metallic (352) = US Bahama Blue **
lazulithblau metallic (372)
designo mysticblau metallic (032)
But for the new SLK, the US paint codes are;
Orion Blue (345) **
Capri Blue (359)
Caspian Blue (950)
The paint numbers from MBSLK.DE website
German R171 Specs
benitoitblau metallic (950)
designo mauritiusblau metallic (Code folgt) Looks like US Bahama Blue
jaspisblau metallic (345) Looks like US Bahama Blue **
tansanitblau metallic (359)
all of which points to the R171 paint code 345 Orion Blue/jaspisblau being the same as Bahama Blue.
Take a look at the Farben option at the MBSLK.DE website.

if that's what mbslk.de says, then it could be seen as partially correct. Orion and Bahama do look similar to one who is not familiar with the colors. Also note that they say that mauritiusblau "looks like" Bahama. But they are all very much different colors. Orion is significantly lighter in color compared to Bahama.
There are many similar shades in the MB paint scheme, just as one might mistake designo mokkaschwarz (033) for designo brilliantschwartz (025) or say Brilliant Silver (744) for Silver Arrow Metallic (777). But they all are different colors, and I don't think that MB would maintain an old code but with a new paint formulation as this would cause confusion for those needing to make repairs.
