crank wont start
Hi everyone )
Please be patient with me as this is my first post and i just joined this site so im really hoping someone can help me out here .??
Driving my slk 350 2005 model on the freeway only doing around 110kmh then suddenly as i accelerated i felt the car choke down had nothing just choked and wouldnt go ??
I pulled over in the emergency lane turned car off let it sit for a minute then tried to start her again but it wouldnt start ???
It cranks as per normal like it wants to start but it wont start ??
I have since got it towed home and its been sitting in my garage for over 6 weeks and still cant get it started ??
i changed the crank shaft sensor but still same thing Cranks but wont start.
im getting really frustrated can anyone please advise me on what the problem could be thank you all .

Hi-I would first scan it for codes but i am lucky enough to have a scanner! If no scanner, try easy start in the air box then try starting. If it fires, then you have a fuel delivery(pump) issue. If not, then at least you can rule out fuel
Also, immobilser failure would stop it starting-do you have a spare key (although unlikely to stall it)
Try these and come back if still no luck- Crank sensor has been changed so that should rule that out-was it a new MB part?
