okay, if anybody should care, how much are the base prices on each model from 2005 SLK 200, 230 to 350, here in us and in germany. My dad is in the navy and currently stationed in Germany and im thinking about selling my SLK for a new one. Congratulations to all you guys who already got the car .. such a SWEET car!!!

Base prices...In the UK...


SLK200 - £22,808.51

SLK350 - £28,595.74

SLK55 - £41,617.02

Actually, those prices are in pounds....here's how much it comes up to when converted to US dollars.

SLK200 - 42,731.64 USD......(kinda irrelevent since this model is not being sold in the US)

SLK350 - 53,573.99USD

SLK55 - 77,962.79USD

However, the prices for the SLK are not yet listed for the US....doubt they'll be as high as the ones listed above though.

 

The prices in Germany are
EURO 33.524,- for the SLK 200
EURO 43.384,- for the SLK 350
EURO 63.974,- for the SLK 55 AMG

Keep in mind that these prices are in Euros and thus easily compared throughout Europe (except for the UK which is still on the sidelines ;-) ). Also, German prices always (!) include Sales Tax already (16%).

Since the Euro's so strong and the US $ so weak at this time, there aren't really any bargins to be had; the same goes for Pound Sterling.
