SLK/R171: to get or not to get?
I'm considering purchasing a new car and the SLK350 or SLK55 is very tempting. But the factor is we already have a SL500 (03), S500 (01) and a 7 seater MPV.
I personally want a small medium sized car that is for myself , as the above cars are my parents, but the idea of having another 2 seater seems a bit selfish. So now im thinking whether to get an E class or SLK. Both I like a lot, and both provides different adavantages. Any suggestions?
The SL500 has been "hijacked" by my sister... she sorta takes the newest car out all the time. Biatch ( yeah a little bit os sibling rivalry here
)that's why I want to pay for my own car so she has no rights to drive it..
The E class is growing on me, but i think i'd go for the E320.
Have you guys seen the Cadillac commercial where the guy does a doughnut and stops, waits a few seconds before the sound catches up with him and the last thing you hear him say is "Wow!!!" Now imagine that happening in real life and you know what it should be like to drive an AMG V8, on a car the size and weight of an SLK for that matter. Let's not forget the sound the beast makes - I should stop now before I wet myself with joygasms, man, I can't wait to upgrade!!

Go for the SLK 55 AMG Get all the packages except wood trim and make sure you get your name on the car so your "biaotch" sister doesn't take it.

The car is already under my name since the money is coming outta my pocket. Unlike some 16yr olds. But i'd also let my sister use it when im away for work. There is something called "SHARING" didnt they teach that in highschool?
As for the SLK55- it would be nice to have a nice little sports car. But as we have the SL there's no point in buying something that's similar but even smaller. The Cayenne is more useful hauling the dogs around and kids if we plan to have any in the near future.

You obviously have very fine values. I lived with my parents until I was 30. I saved a lot and bought my own house with a 50% down payment. By the time I got married, I had the mortgage paid off. Life has been very easy for me. My father could have easily bought me a car when I was younger but chose not to. "Thanks Dad".
