moreover, the right is for upshifting , the left is for downshifting! as for the other SLK's , its just scarmbled , (to make them happy at least they got gear shifting buttons) hehe

The AMG speedshift is a big improvement over the standard Auto box, so if the nonAMG and AMG 7G boxes differ as they do in say a C320 and a C32AMG - the AMG box will be much better to drive.

The 55 and 350 gearboxes will therefore offer quite a different driving experience. Mind good though my C32 autobox was, I still preferred the SMGII in my M3.
