Windshield Washer Failed

I have a 2009 SLK300. Went out to drive it and could get no evidence of any fluid coming out the washer nozzles. The reservoir had fluid and the wipers work. Couldn't hear any noise like a pump running. I checked the two wiper fuses and they were good. Any thing else to check? Any ideas of a pump replacement cost?

As an avid DIY I checked Mr. Google on changing windshield washer pumps... If you own a Yugo it is a 5 min operation and will cost you $30. If however you are a proud SLK owner, you are in for a surprise...Cost was $350... parts and 2hr labor... It seems the engineers who designed the car never thought about pump replacement...
