DVD Navigation SLK 350
I have a SLK350 with a standard Command Center. Does anyone know if I can use the DVD Navigation Disk from a SL500 on the SLK350 or is there more to it in order for the Navigation system to work?

2005 SLK350 Silver w/ Black; 2004 GMC Sierra 2500
I am not sure if they standard command center has a built in GPS reciever, without a GPS reciever the Nav wont know where the car is. However, i believe as a function of the tele-aid they are able to track the car so it is more a matter of if the DVD can interpret the location and display it.

Does anyone know if the base command center on a SLK350 has the GPS equiment built in. Im hoping all I need are the DVD to get it to work????

Nope. There is a Nav computer in the trunk along with a DVD drive to read the maps.
