SLK r172 BlueEfficiency
Why doesn't ALL NEW R172 SLK have the badge of "BLUEEFFICIENCY" next to the tire? Somebody knows the reason?

I believe the 'BlueEfficiency' is placed there if the engine has the auto start/stop feature which the US cars aren't getting (from what I read somewhere).

Thank you for the answer. But I realize that new slk has already been fit with a CGI engine(slk200 slk250 slk350), which belongs to BLueEfficiency Technology Even without equipping with the start/stop.

2004 Ran SRT-10,2007 S550,2016 E400c
all models with the new direct inject motors are considered blue efficiency because of the improvement in gas milage
