2013 SLK 350
Squeaking windows on new SLK - suggestions?

I got a 2013 SLK 350 3 months ago. It has just over 2,000 miles on it now. About a month ago, the driver and passenger windows started to squeak when opening or closing the door - when the window rolls down slightly and then back up.

I have cleaned the rubber molding around the window with Armor all several times, but the squeak persists.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do to stop this?

I have 2011 SLK350. Made the same noises but went away after 12 months.
Keep cleaning the top of the window glass where it touches the rubber.
Use Metho to clean away the rubber sealant that seems to stick to the glass.

I sometimes get noise from the mirrors when folding in. Squeek.

Just be glad we don't have VW DSG trans.

It was the triangular rubber molding near the mirror on both sides. I just noticed it made the same sound with the top down. Cleaning that area stopped the noise.

Keep an eye on those triangluar rubber mouldings. Both of mine have started to perish, turning a brownish colour.
Car is garaged most of the time.
Dealer is replacing both sides today under warranty.
