Hello, does anyone knows how many speakers have the slk 300 15? Standard Sound System, no-Harman Kardon.

It sounds good to me.
The Standard Equipment List says 8 speakers.
There seems to be one in the top of the dashboard and one behind the seats, but no sound comes from them when I'm playing radio or bluetooth, and I can't find any tuning options for them. It may be that they are used for nav / phone, so putting it as an "8 speaker system" is cheating a bit.
If you have 2 in each door, the front & rear, and 2 subwoofers, that would be 8.
There are no "rear" speakers and fading is only Left/Right.

So I figured it out.
1 wide-range (sub/mid) speaker & 1 tweeter in the front of each door
1 tweeter in each seat
1 mid-range speaker at centre rear
1 mid-range speaker at centre front
Again, there is no F/R fade. The "rear" speakers (x3) are mostly noticeable when I'm on a phone call. I will need to sit in the car and play music when it's not running to see how much sound is directed to the speakers that are not in the doors. The bass is not impotent, but all 8 speakers are accounted for here so I don't know if there's a sub.
ProLogic or some other matrix decoding would have been a really nice feature - but I bet even the Hardon kit doesn't do that.
