Air leak around retractable top

Just recently bought my 2012 SLK250. Love everything so far but the retractable top is noisy (wind sounds at speed). I assume this is common in retractable hard tops. Does anyone have good advice to eliminate or reduce this problem?

It's a shame the noise did not become apparent while on an extended highway test drive!!

Thanks Plutoe for that admonishment. I could use some helpful advice to eliminate or reduce the problem. I love the car, otherwise. I suspect that this is a common problem with a fiberglass top.

There is a fix but I’m afraid you won’t like it the fiberglass tops are defective and most be replaced with glass tops.
