Hello, all. I just purchased a 2012 SLK 350 and now must attach a front license plate, per VA state DMV requirements. I have the MB correct curved tag holder (it's ugly), but I must apparently drill holes in the front bumper to accommodate the tag holder, and tag.
What's behind the front bumper facia? How far may I drill without hitting something that may be damaged? WHERE do you folks position your front license plate? Pics would be helpful. I hate to do this but have no choice, sadly.
