I do not know if this is the same type leak that you have or had but maybe this will help the next guy with this problem. Just this morning I watched a video on YouTube on how to fix a leaky roof on the SLK models. It was pretty straight forward and anyone handy with a screwdriver should be able to handle it. I suggest searching YouTube for SLK and leaky roof or something similar.

It did involve removing the headliner and then adjusting the rubber seal, and looked pretty easy to do. Best of all it worked.

MB has a liquid that they sell to rub into the
rubber seal that is suppose to loosen the rubber and help seal between the window and seal. I have a similar leak both sides.

Water Leak

I've been worried about the leak for a long time.

It's a very difficult problem. There are two
types of roof materials. It is made of polycarbonate and glass.
My car is an early-stage polycarbonate roof.
Polycarbonate causes deformation in
which the center part floats.

how about your roof?
