Anyone know how the 2 piece (inner hinge & outer door) can be removed & replaced? I’d like to do it myself and believe the inner mechanism is somewhat easily removable to the outside w/o removing any screws/fasteners/panels from within, but how… dealer service tech won’t give me the info; I prefer to do it myself if possible and avoid the $550+ cost. The spring loaded hinge inner part #1726300400 and outer cover door #172750006 are ~$212. Dealer Labor =$250 + paint. Have carefully tried to pry out the unit around the filler tube to no avail. Anyone know of a special tool or method? Thanks! (See photos)
