Unless your going for a different sound I wouldn't reccommend it.
Tha AMG exhaust is pretty wide open and I have had my car modded and will not have the exhaust done.

The stock exhaust manifold & downpipe are restrictive. If you look at it the stock exhaust manifold decreases in diameter where it meats the down pipe.
Still no joy on headers. My goal is to replace the stock manifold, downpipes, delete the cats closest to the block and replace the main cats with a pair of high flow cats. My guess is 30-40rwhp (assuming a well designed header). Hopefully note of the exhuast will be improved without being to loud in the passenger compartment.
If anyone near LA can give up their car for ~2 weeks we can get a great set of headers made. Or find out that with the layout in the engine compartment the ROI for headers is just not there.
