Pics of the new look of my SLK32 (Picture Heavy post)

Here is the new and improved SLK32.

Haven't dyno'd it with these new mods but the previous Dyno was 311 whp and 311 torque.

Since that dyno we added the SL Y-Pipe, Kleemann cams, Kleemann LSD (One of a kind for the R170 in the USA).

Enjoy!!!

I think it looks grear. I'd swap the front grille to a new SL/CLK style grill because it has less fins on it (I prefer the look).

Are the right side exhausts fake, or did you change the piping to flow exhaust fumes to them as well? I can't see the resonator on that side, so I'm wondering?

The exhaust is fully functional. I could not have done it if it wasn't really hooked up.

The doors are fantastic easy to move. The hinges came from Europe. They cost more than the USA ones but they full crash tests done and I felt better getting something that was safer.

I like it aside from the grille and the doors, but i guess im more traditional. also, why'd you take off the V6 Kompresssor and the AMG badges? That seemed odd.

seriously... The wheels are just not working in my opinion.. They take away from the car instead of give.. get wheels with a lip that will help you seperate yourself from the rest of the crowd and add that sense of beef the SLK desperately needs.

I love the exhaust, as well as the doors.

Front grill looks cheap! All black is a great idea but the Mercedes Star makes the rest of the grill cheap and home painted.

The rest of the car looks good.

Good Job!

Hard to be a sleeper when you have four exhausts

Your car is the tight! The doors and wheels work for me. The northern boys don't understand the grill: we have bugs down here big enough to do damage to your radiator if you don't slow them down first.

What??? No wheel locks... j/k. Your SLK is nicely done, clean and mean. I didn't like the older model but yours is an exception.

I wanted to tell everyone "Thank you very much!" for the gracious comments.

I have a few things left to do.

Color matched roll bars, xenon foglights and carbon fiber interior.

So far everything is what I wanted. You can't take the money with you so why not enjoy it right!!!

Thanx again everyone!!!!

a few...
Car does look good.

IMO, I'd change the grill out and get some better wheels. You have spent so much money on the car, only to buy AMG knockoffs? Get some sweet ones on there and you'll be good to go.

I appreciate the input.....but I'm one of those guys who gets what I like regardless of who makes the product or even how much it costs.

I have AMG wheels that look exactly like these but do not have the rivets on the outside.

I love the look of these wheels and didn't care that they are not authentic AMG wheels.

Also the grille on the car is a new add-on but we will be changing the star and adding the Kleemann logo in red on the front here soon.

Thanx again!!
