Have a 2002 SLK 32 - car is sluggish starting, the voltage drops about 2 volts at night, charge overnight and will not maintain 12V. Have checked ground, battery and ancillary connections - anyone have similar symptoms in the past with this and remedy?

Which move point A to point B.
was it your alternator? i have a same problem on my X5 it was solve as soon as i change it to the new one. my mb doesn't give me any kind of problem yet.
